Two of our friends will be taking part in the Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire Historic Churches Trust annual Bike ‘n Hike event.
On Saturday 11th September Graham Smith and Hannah Johnson will be taking part in the Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire Historic Churches Trust annual Bike ‘n Hike event by walking around local churches in Renhold and Bedford in order to raise funds for the Beds & Herts Historic Churches Trust and Renhold Chapel. The aim is aim to visit around 25 chapels and churches during the day.
If you are able, we would welcome your sponsorship either per church or as a one off donation. Please give what you can on the link below.
Don’t forget to Gift Aid your donation if you are a taxpayer.
The funds raised will be split equally between Renhold Chapel and the Beds & Herts Historic Churches Trust which exists to support churches in the two counties with financial support for building projects and have helped the chapel with large projects like the Car Park resurfacing and the electric doors.
Following today’s (12/07/21) announcement by the UK Government regarding the relaxation of the Coronavirus rules we have decided to reopen the chapel.
Morning Services will restart beginning with the morning service at 10:30 on 25 July. No evening services are planned at present.
This has been a long time coming and we thank all of our friends for their patience during what has been a very difficult time for the whole world.
In order to do all we can to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, we request that all visitors allow us to take their temperature before entering the chapel.
We also ask visitors to make use of the hand gel provided and also to wear a mask whilst moving between the door and their seat. We ask for your cooperation in this so that we can do our best to keep everyone healthy.
If all goes well, we intend to restart the Coffee Mornings in September.
We look forward to welcoming our congregation back.
